Afterwards, you dive into a slightly hilly but low-traffic area of Schleswig, with many small villages, endless fields, and lonely farms. All the way to Eckernförde. From Eckernförde to Flensburg, the same applies. Absolutely beautiful. Overnight stays are possible in countless small guesthouses along the way. Flensburg is then the step into another country, Denmark. In Denmark, there is immediately noticeably less car traffic. The first city is Sonderburg. Nothing special. In Denmark, you should look up overnight stays on the Internet beforehand. Significantly fewer options than we have. From Sonderburg, you continue towards the ferry, which runs constantly. The ferry then zooms you and your bikes (a bit of relaxation is well deserved) to the "Danish South Sea island Aero. Very nice, and it can be cycled in 2 hours. From Marstall on Aero, you can then take the next ferry to Langeland. Langeland is then the first area without any hills. Absolutely flat and quick to ride. From Langeland, you then take the ferry to Loland. Various small towns and Danish tranquility. Before you turn towards the Gedser ferry, make sure to include Marielist as a stop. Beautiful Baltic beach. From Marielist, there is a well-maintained forest path to Gedser...this way, you save the road.
