Bike Arena Sauerland - Über den Rhein-Weser-Turm (Start: Olpe-Apollmicke)

A moderately difficult tour that begins in Olpe-Apollmicke. To reach the Rhein-Weser Tower and Jagdhaus, some elevation must be overcome, but the SauerlandRadring makes up for it with enjoyable gliding. Starting from the hiking parking lot in Apollmicke, the route initially goes pleasantly and mostly flat to Würdinghausen. After Oberhundem, there is a longer ascent through numerous switchbacks up to the Rhein-Weser Tower. After a quick descent, it goes back up behind Aue-Wingeshausen towards Jagdhaus. Later, one reaches Schmallenberg – from here, the route continues for many kilometers along the well-marked Sauerland Radring. Once back in the Lenne Valley, the tour concludes through the Veischedetal back to the starting point at Apollmicke.
