The Lagoa route features various points of interest along the way. Starting from the city centre of Lagoa, ride southeast until you reach the coast and the charming beach of Benagil. Be sure to visit the famous Algar de Benagil. It is located in a cliff area, so the terrain is quite rugged. The climbs and descents, although short, are quite steep and require some skill and experience. Continuing along the coast towards the west, you will pass through Carvoeiro and then Ferragudo. Both offer several interesting points to visit. Heading north, you will pass Estômbar and a little further on you will find the Parque das Fontes before returning to Lagoa.
