4. Etappe einer Durchquerung der Schweiz, um ab Genf auf der ViaRhona weiterzufahren. Bereits die dritte Etappe zwischen Chevroux (Neuenburger See) und Morges (Genfer See) war wegen der teilweise schlechten Radwege und des Höhenunterschieds nicht einfach zu bewältigen. Zwischen Genf und Seyssel wird es (subjektiv) nochmals richtig schwierig. Jedenfalls dann, wenn man sich an den offiziell ausgeschilderten Radweg hält. Es gilt nicht nur einige Schotterpisten, sondern auch einen beträchtlichen Höhenunterschied zu bewältigen. Eine mühsame Angelegenheit mit Gepäck. Dem Vernehmen nach wird allgemein empfohlen, die ViaRhona erst ab Seyssel zu befahren. Ab dort wird man für seine Mühen mit guten Radwegen bis Lyon belohnt.
