Idyllic one-day tour through the largest heathland areas in Europe. Start your ride at the large carriage parking lot in Undeloh. Here you can visit the free Heide-ErlebnisZentrum to learn all about the formation of the Lüneburg Heath and its current conservation. The route takes you past historic apiary fences and sheepfolds. With a bit of luck, you might meet the shepherd with his Heidschnucke flock. In Wilsede, the historic open-air museum village, you can stop at cosy heath cafés. The heath museum 'Dat ole Huus' is unique for its collection of traditional Heidjer relics.
