Casalborgone_G.T._Chivasso 40km 510m

A tour with very varied route sections. Initially, it's a slow climb of over 200 meters elevation gain, followed by a long descent. Once at the bottom, you have to ride a stretch on the busy SP500 road. But then you can turn towards the Po River – where the landscape is beautifully scenic. Afterwards, cross the bridge to Chivasso (Attention: don't miss the bike path entrance between the guardrails – there is only one spot!). It's a quiet little town with beautiful churches and good restaurants. Then return over the bridge (again staying east side on the bike path!) and climb 240 meters – fairly steep. It demands effort. Fortunately, this part has moderate to low traffic from cars and motorcycles.
