Serralunga Sinio DianoD'Alba SchlossCavour (26km, 560hm)

Nice route mostly on asphalt. Before Sinio, there is a steep descent. The church there is worth visiting. Then there's a strong climb of 200 meters. Along the way, a local farmer has displayed various granite blocks.

It gets pleasant in Diano d'Alba, whose church hill is visible from afar. In the café just before the church hill, right by the road, you can enjoy a tasty refreshment. From the top of the hill, there is a great 360° view and the church is also worth seeing.

The main destination, the castle in Grizane Cavour with its exhibition, was okay. Interesting were the objects related to viticulture and the original bed (with mobile toilet) of the Italian statesman Camillo Benso di Cavour (1810-1861), who lived here temporarily. The wine trade in the castle can be forgotten, as can the restaurant. There is an alternative a few meters past the castle in the village.
