Rundweg Haunetalradweg / Milseburgradweg / Hofbieber / Nüstalradweg

Starting point: Kegelspielradweg parking lot

Cross the railway onto the Haunetalradweg heading towards Marbach

In Marbach, take the direct path along the Haunetal reservoir lake (at the village entrance, turn left through an underpass / after 100m turn left onto a dirt road and pass under the railway bridge / then you reach the lake => alternatively, there is a longer route through Marbach with more climbing but all asphalted)

Around the Haunetal reservoir lake on the cycle path via Steinau to the Milseburgradweg

Continue on the Milseburgradweg to Langenbieber

There, at the bike snack bar, leave the cycle path and turn left onto the main road heading towards the village exit

Shortly before leaving the village, turn left towards Hofbieber (the cycle path is signposted)

Ride through Hofbieber residential area then turn right into the village centre

Turn left towards Allmus (descent approx. 2 km)

In Allmus turn right towards Rimmels (the cycle path is signposted)

After a short stretch comes an approx. 1-kilometre steady climb then a long descent into Rimmels village

In Rimmels, turn left onto the Nüsttalradweg and pass through Silges / Mackenzell to Nüst

In Nüst, at the community centre, turn left and pass under the railway line to the Shell petrol station

Cross the road there and return along the path by the railway back to the Kegelspielradweg parking lot, crossing the railway

Surface quality: Good asphalt cycle paths and where the route runs on public roads these are lightly trafficked. Only the shortcut at Haune lake is a dirt track. This can be avoided by using the official path, which is also asphalted.
