Floresta da Tijuca

Floresta da Tijuca the way I like it. Starting at Rua Alice, briefly passing through a part of Santa Tereza, climbing up near the Sumaré antennas and then descending to Alto da Boa Vista, where I recommend stopping at the Boa Vista gas station or even the Bar da Pracinha for rest, hydration or food. Crossing the avenue, we take a tour of the other part of the park up to the base of the Pico da Tijuca trail, where we return by another path to circle the park. Leaving this part, we return to the route heading to Paineiras and the Christ the Redeemer, where we can stop to rest a bit. Then the destination is the Mirante and the Dona Marta heliport. Finishing the return to Santa Tereza and finally the starting point at Rua Alice.
