Krušné h - Velichov - Kovářská - Měděnec - Velichov

Route - a 111 km loop with 2380 m of climbing, following roads and paved paths through a beautiful rolling landscape, comfortable for trekking bikes and also suitable for road bikes.

Start and finish is in the village of Velichov (Karlovy Vary district), from where we depart along the road and C3001, in Vojkovice turning left across the Ohře river, then continuing to Krásný Les, at the junction straight ahead (left) on C3002, at the junction at 820 m left and following C3002 and the green trail along the slope (1050 m) of Mount Meluzína, at the junction right onto road no. 223 and C36, at the next junction left from the road onto an unmarked paved path around the former lime plant, through the village of Kovářská on C3004 (left is the former smelter and right the former lime plant), we climb upstream along the Černá Voda stream to an intersection, there right onto road no. 224 and C3003, after 400 m left onto unmarked road no. 22435 still upstream along Černá Voda, after the village of Černý Potok we cross the border into Germany and reach Joehstadt, where there is a narrow-gauge railway, trains, a depot and a station. Next, we continue via Schloessel on road S265 to Schmalzgrube and turn right to Satzung, then right on K8104 and Cycle Route D, crossing the border back into the Czech Republic and joining the Krušné hory mountain trail, then right on C23 and the blue trail around the Přísečnice reservoir to Měděnec, continuing straight on C36 to Horní Halze and there left on C3004, descending a beautiful path through the Údolíčko valley to Perštejn, then left on road no. 13 and after 1.5 km right on road no. 2235 and on C3005 via Malý Hrzín to an intersection where we turn left on road no. 2236 and on C3002 passing Krásný Les and Vojkovice back to Velichov, where we started.
