Merlo-Villars

Calm route from Merlo to Moreno station. Caution when riding on the riverside road due to traffic and because it is a somewhat dangerous area, especially if riding in the afternoon when traffic is light. Upon leaving the riverside road and taking Zapaleri, it is complete silence. I crossed paths with a car in the first few meters and then with a family who were having a barbecue by the roadside, but it’s more likely you won’t see anyone. This street is a bit broken at first but after a few minutes it becomes more passable. Upon reaching the intersection with route 6, you can see the Villars sign. The asphalt leads you to the old train station where there is a museum.

To continue the journey, you can ride along the tracks to Lozano, which is allowed, and it’s a nice route.

The return can be done via the same road or if you prefer you can take route 6 until its intersection with route 200, and there, just behind a police station, is the Zamudio station of the Sarmiento railroad, which will take you back to Merlo.
