After the Stauros junction, you pass by the Navy base and reach Agios Ioannis the hunter. You continue the ascent, and at the end of it, you follow the dirt road to the right (about 500 m) and continue on the asphalt, which takes you above the cemetery of Papagou. You keep going and meet the road that rises from Kaisariani (yellow barriers). Soon you will find the Asteriou Monastery and the OTE distribution box. With a little more perseverance, you arrive at a left hairpin bend with a plateau and a tank for firefighting needs.
