About This Route

Der Beginn der Chiemsee-Umrundung ist überall am See möglich. Wir haben das Freibad „Prienavera“ in Prien gewählt, wo es ausreichend Parkplätze gibt. Im Uhrzeigersinn geht es los, durch viele romantische Orte, meist mit Blick auf die Herreninsel. Zwischen Seebruck und Chieming sind die Seeufer besonders schön, und man radelt mit Blick auf die bayerischen Alpen immer gen Süden. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Im Süden verläuft der Radweg einige Kilometer nebender Autobahn – zwar weiterhin toll angelegt, aber eben mit Lärmbegleitung.
