About This Route

Ein Rundweg führt in den Nordosten des Stadtgebietes in die weite und offene Landschaft des Mehrumer Bördenrandes. Die Erhebungen Hohe Warte und Leierberg sind weithin sichtbar. Der Billerbach, in dessen Niederung sich teilweise Grünland befindet, durchfließt diese Landschaft nach Nordosten bis zur „Burgdorfer Aue“. Nördlich des Rundkurses gibt es die ausgedehnten und strukturreichen Grünlandgebiete „Sohrwiesen“ und die Waldflächen des „Hämelerwaldes“.
