R9 - La Raca

Circular MTB route that starts from the parking lot at the beginning of the Canal Roya track to ascend along the GR 65.3 to Candanchú and continue climbing afterwards by road to the parking lot of the Astún ski resort.

Once there, we take the trail that ascends to La Raca and continue to the peak with a 500 m ascent over just 6 kilometers.

Once we reach the peak of La Raca, the start of the descent is apotheotic, it seems like you're going to fall into the abyss of the slopes of the peak itself when the trail slightly turns towards Candanchú over a grassy slope and on fun (fast) riding conditions, to make a left turn of 180° and enter a basin where the path becomes zigzagging to gradually immerse ourselves in a denser pine forest full of fun and landscape charm. The same forest leads back to the access path to the Canal Roya.
