Cycling along the Maas near Den Bosch is wonderful. You will find peace, space and natural beauty. You can visit great museums in Kerkdriel and Alem. Roof tile museum
From Café restaurant Treurenburg you cross the Maas. From the dike you look out over the floodplains and the river. In Kerkdriel you can visit the Driels Museum, which is housed in a beautiful old school building. You will learn more about local history here. Further on you pass through Alem, a village onan island in the Maas. You pass the former Reformed Church from 1640, nowadays it houses a roof tile museum. Ferry
With a nostalgic ferry you cross the Maas again. You drive on low-traffic roads through the sparsely populated polder between extensive grasslands and fields. Get a breath of fresh air while enjoying the silence. It will take you no effort to switch back here. Further on you drive along the Rosmalense Plas, a leafy recreation area that originated from a sand excavation. You cycle back to Café restaurant Treurenburg along nature reserve De Koornwaard. Terrace!
