Overview
About this route
The bike path leads from the present Danube and takes you through Allmendingen and Schelklingen along the valley of the Ur-Danube to Blaubeuren. Behind the monastery is the famous Blautopf, a strong karst spring and the beginning of a large cave system, where according to legend the beautiful Lau lived. Medieval castles and ruins accompany you along the Blau to the Swabian-Bavarian twin city of Ulm with the highest church tower in the world. Enjoy this metropolis with its shopping opportunities and urban flair at the end of your journey.
