Heidetour - Mit allen Sinnen genießen

The tour starts at the Barfußpark in Egestorf, which can be visited as the main attraction of the day either before or after the tour. For the visit, you should plan about 2 hours. From there, it goes through the romantic village center behind the beautiful old half-timbered church, which is open to visitors during the day, to the right towards the district of Sudermühlen. At this idyllic spot, you can view an old water mill and the duck pond behind the hotel. From here, you continue straight along the edge of the forest through the protected area of Lüneburger Heide to Undeloh. There you arrive in the town center via Radenbachweg. In the village, follow the signs to HeideErlebniszentrum to the left. There you can see a very interesting exhibition about the history, origin, and maintenance of the heath landscape. Afterwards, you continue straight through the heath landscape, turning left into Radebachweg and further along the small heath brook to Döhle. Here you have the opportunity to visit the ant exhibition at the House of Nature on weekends (Friday-Sunday) from June to mid-October. From here, you return to the starting point in Egestorf.
