Tren Titan - Oltenita (We save time and can leave later)

Departure times: 5:39, 7:41, 9:12, 10:43

Fare 7.5RON + 7RON Bicycle = 14.5RON

Supplies can be obtained from Lidl Oltenita, next to the train station. We exit on DN4 from Oltenita and immediately after crossing the bridge over the Argeș, we leave the asphalt and enter the Danube’s dyke on a dirt road which we will follow until we find a suitable place to set up tents and make fire.

The next day we continue along the dyke until we reach Gostinu, after which we continue along the dyke that brings us into the commune of Băneasa.

From here we have 3 options:

1. Immediately after leaving the commune, we turn left onto DJ 413, pass by the former tank testing ground, and arrive in the commune of Mihai Bravu where we join DJ603 towards Comana. The road has been recently paved. (The shown route is on this option)
2. From Băneasa we continue on DN41, which is part of EuroVelo 6, until we reach the forest edge and the branch towards Puieni. Here we turn left onto a road paved with concrete slabs that takes us to the commune of Vlad Tepes, from where we can continue towards Comana.
3. From Băneasa, we keep on DN41 until we reach the commune of Prundu. At the entrance to the commune, just after the gas station, we turn left onto DJ 412, which is impeccably paved, and leads us to Falastoaca.

Of course, we also have the option to go on DN41 until we reach the branch towards Hotarele, from where we can continue on the route Hotarele - Herăști - Valea Dragului - Vărăști.
