St. Marc, Col de Firstplan

Flat approach through the Rhine plain. In Gueberschwihr, the climb begins. The first three kilometers are quite tough, then it continues to rise well. From the Saint-Marc monastery, it becomes a bit flatter. In Soultzbach les Bains, turn right onto the bike path, it's marked but easy to miss. This bike path meanders through the woods and alongside the train tracks until just before Wintzenheim. I recommend going around Colmar. It's a bit farther, but more relaxing.
