Düsseler Rundweg Variation

We are riding the route a little differently than 'Adhesion', as our dog is joining us. We also go down the Flehenberg, then briefly turn left onto Düsseler Str., and soon turn right down Kölnische Landstraße. We continue on Kölnische until a path to a riding stable branches off on the left. Unfortunately, the map does not show that there is a hiking trail leading to the B7 (Heisterfeld), and then it's back via Hahnenfurter Weg to Düssel. Through Dorfstr. and Düsseler Feld, we reach the Aprather Mühlenteich, which is currently being drained, and then continue straight along the stream and finally go back up the hill by Klinik Aprath. Then back as described, or if one still hasn't had enough, down to the farm Imbusch and climb back up to Flehenberg. This tour can be varied from Düssel via Voisberger Weg, then you can get to Aprather Station and the Aprather Pond. I have no idea how many kilometers that is, but even the kids (8 and 10) can do it if we take one or two small breaks. Conclusion: A great area for cycling with a dog and children!
