About This Route

Familientaugliche Route, überwiegend auf Wegen abseits des Autoverkehrs, moderate Steigungen.

Start und Ziel: Parkplatz am Naturlehrgebiet in Treysa, ca. 3 Radminuten vom Bahnhof (Bahnnhofstraße hoch, geradeaus in die Zwalmstraße, am Viadukt nach links in den Wiegelsweg).

Zunächst folgt die Route dem Schwalm-Radweg Richtung Borken. Bei Allendorf wechselt sie auf den R4 Richtung Ziegenhain. Kurz nach der Hochspannungssleitung geht sie nach links vom R4 ab, führt an der Wolfshainsiedlung vorbei, durch den Zeigerich nach Leimsfeld, von da ein Stück auf dem R14 Richtung Ziegenhain, aber dann am Rande des Schützenwaldes nach links durch den Wald, über die Kreisstraße nach Niedergrenzebach, in Ziegenhain trifft man wieder auf den Schwalm-Radweg, dem man Richtung Borken (Treysa) folgt.

Einkehr: Allendorf, Gasthof Rockensüß; Leimsfeld, Schützenhaus; Ziegenhain, Eiscafé La Perla (u.a.)
