About This Route

 

3rd day of Tour del Sufrimiento from San Jose de Ocoa to Santo Domingo. The time trial starts immediately.  6 to 7 hours in total. It gets very hot. After the first 2 climbs there are lots of places to buy drinks and snacks Great scenery. 4 big climbs in all. Asphalt starts along the downhill after the 2nd big climb. The last 35 odd kms are no fun but take you back to Santo Domingo.

3er día del Tour del Sufrimiento de San José de Ocoa a Santo Domingo. El crono comienza inmediatamente en SJ en el Parque de la Independencia .  6 a 7 horas en total. Se pone muy caliente. Después de las 2 primeras ascensiones hay un montón de lugares para comprar bebidas y snacks, estupendo paisaje. 4 grandes subidas en total. Asfalto comienza lo largo de la cuesta abajo después de la segunda gran subida. Los últimos 35 kms no son divertidas, puro autopista hasta Santo Domingo.
