Start from Döbbrick via Wilmersdorf to the Baltic Sea and then to the observation tower in Merzdorf. Over Merzdorf, a stretch along the Hammergraben towards Sandower Spree. Past the electricity and diesel power plants into the old town to the former Schocken. Then a few meters along the Sprem, continuing south to the Strombad and back to the Spree. Next stops former retirement home and memorial of the Cottbus prison on Bautzner Straße. Continuing across the city to the southernmost point (Europakreuzung), then back north along the picturesque Priorgraben, crossing the railway line up to the Bauhausschule. Then again briefly towards the center past the theater/Schillerplatz and through the Brunschwig park out of the city. Between Zahsow and Sielow briefly through a pine forest before entering the city again from the north. Across the North Cemetery to the BTU and discover the campus. Back past the fire department to the Spree and back.
