2/3 vom Marathon beim Black Forest Bike Marathon

The described route leads over two of the three long climbs of the marathon route of the Black Forest Bike Marathon. Route description: From Kirchzarten towards Himmelreich, continue towards Falkensteig. There, turn right into the forest and follow the signs (note: signs are not always clear - Hinterzarten is not mentioned! Tip: At junctions, keep to the left!). Stay on the asphalt section before Hinterzarten to reach Rinken (2nd supply station). Then keep left again towards Dreisamtal. Keep going, then leave the second climb to the left and ride down the Zastlertal to Oberried. There, pass through the village on the L126 and the long steep asphalt section up to the end, then turn right. Continue until you almost automatically return to Dietenbach. From here, Kirchzarten is just a stone's throw away. Alternatively, you can ride from Freiburg to Kirchzarten via Kappel and return the same way.
