Jädraås - LVG 130 km

Road cycling loop No. 1 - from STF Jädraås Herrgård

Varied and partly hilly route on nice, low-traffic paved roads through very beautiful and varied nature. The loop passes through culturally significant areas with picturesque small villages and communities, crossing more than a dozen lakes and waterways that offer fine rest areas. Several of these have inviting swimming spots, so feel free to pack swimwear. The route is nice to cycle in both directions, although we ourselves prefer the counterclockwise direction.

Keep an eye out for signs for summer cafés found in some of the villages and/or make a short detour to the Svärdsjö community for ice cream, coffee, or lunch. It is located almost halfway on the loop (after 55 km counterclockwise or 75 km clockwise), for example at Borgärdets Café and Pub. Good coffee opportunities are also available at Berglunds Bakery in Kungsgården, just a short detour from the loop at the intersection of Svärdsjövägen-Norrbergsvägen (lv 302).

Please note the small detour via Gammelboning at the end of the loop (counterclockwise) or the beginning of the loop (clockwise). It is a bonus that takes you past the beautiful building Jädraås Hytta.

By the way, the village of Jädraås was voted Industrial Monument of the Year 2020!
