About This Route

Steam trains chugged along this 29km route between Manacor and Artá from 1921 to 1977, when it fell into disrepair.  The Via Verde is used by cyclist, hikers and horse riders. An easy ride through changing scenery and the opportunity st stop and refuel at one of the restored original railway stations.
