2009.07.04 Międzylesie - Góry Orlickie - Kłodzko

From the PKP station in Międzylesie, I head south to the village of Kamieńczyk, where a steep climb awaits me. After a few kilometers, the asphalt road ends. After a kilometer of dirt road, I cross the border. On the Czech side, the road is of very good quality and there are hordes of cyclists (both women and men) on it. I am now heading north. In the village of Orlicke Zahori, I return to the Polish side of the border and the condition of our roads.

I pass Mostowice and Lasówkę. On my left side, beautiful views of the Orlickie Mountains. Now a steep climb again and I am climbing to Zieleńca. In summer, there are few people here, a completely different place than in winter. At the other end of Zieleńca, the road reaches a height of 900 m above sea level. Now the reward for the struggles of the climbs. The bike exceeds 70 km/h.

A few bends, I don’t want to take risks, this pleasure could end badly. After a few kilometers on the already busy, international road, I reach Duszniki and Polanica Zdr. I take a moment to rest again and finish my journey in Kłodzko.
