Capo Vieste - del Lupo - la Baracca Mte. Iacotenente - Villagio Forestale

A great circular route starting from the Capo Vieste campsite.

From la Baracca to the military area, you ride uphill along the path, sometimes gently, sometimes more steeply, passing a beautiful picnic area with stone walls.

Beyond that, it becomes even steeper before the path levels out.

Once you reach the highest point in the forest and the path starts to slope gently downhill, you need to keep right and go directly through the pasture fence by the path ('gate posts for opening and closing'). After about 100 m, there is another gate. Then you ride along a wide forest track beside the military area, which lies to the left.

You emerge at the end of the asphalt road, right at the gate to the military area. The guardrails are interrupted there, and you can see the footpath.

Follow the asphalt road to the kiosk, then descend back to the start of the tour.
