About This Route

Wandelroute met start en aankomst aan "De Mot" (mote = een kunstmatige omwalde ophoping met erop een hoeve of kasteel). Vandaag is De Mot en omgeving bekend als speelterrein voor de jeugdbewegingen. De route loopt verder langs peperkoekfabriek 'Vondelmolen', het station van Lebbeke en zo naar het centrum van Lebbeke (met tal van horecazaken). Uiteraard kom je hier langs de historische Onze-Lieve-Vrouw kerk en het 'hofken van 7 weeën" (een beschermd zicht). Lietbeka is de eerste gekende naam van Lebbeke.
