53km, 980hm - Tour durch den Nord-Südosten von Chemnitz

Start in Hilbersdorf, entrance to the railway museum through the garden and crosses the B173 near the White Way. The loop then leads on gravel paths through the Zeißig forest, over Beutenbergstr. to Bergeshöh (road, partly 20% incline) to Katzenberg (470m) (paved or old concrete slabs). On a short section of Augustusburger Str. towards Chemnitz (turn left at the height of the old inn) follows the Adelsberg Tower (510m). This section runs partly on the Adelsberger-Bike-Marathon (forest floor with roots, partly wet and mostly muddy). After Kleinolbersdorf-Altenhain has been cut on paved roads, the loop goes over field paths and meadows to Spitzberg (around 8-10% incline, 505m). On roads go through Dittmannsdorf on a slight incline towards Witzschdorf. Just before Witzschdorf, one turns left at the bending main road into the Kammweg and rides on forest paths (watch for signs!) towards Hennersdorf down to the Zschopau valley and up the road through the wooden bridge to Augustusburg (average 12-14% incline). Next to the Augustusburg cable car, there is a small challenging downhill on forest paths (about 2km long with around 20% descent), before returning on gravel along the Zschopau to Flöha. Through Flöha, the path continues on paved roads and bike lanes to Braunsdorf, passing the oil mill and below Lichtenwalde Castle. The end of the loop is back at the starting point in Chemnitz Hilbersdorf / Ebersdorf.

Conditionally demanding, riding time approx. 3 hours at a relaxed pace. About 53km and 980hm.
