About This Route

De Overijsselse Vecht is een 167 kilometer lange regenrivier, die ruim 60 kilometer door Nederland stroomt voordat hij afbuigt naar Duitsland. Het Zwarte Water is een stukje korter: die is slechts 19 kilometer lang. Het Zwarte Water ontstaat uit de samenvoeging van de Soestwetering en de Nieuwe Wetering. De Wijde Aa ontstond door zandwinning voor de wijk Aa-landen, De Westerveldse Kolk staat in verbinding met het Zwarte Water.
