Drover Heide

This circular path leads you through the regionally significant nature and bird protection area 'Drover Heide' and provides you, as an experienced hiker and nature lover, the opportunity to explore, over a total length of 14.1 km, this valuable habitat for an endangered, rare, and diverse fauna and flora with open heathland and forest areas and numerous small bodies of water. The nature reserve 'Drover Heide' (approximately 680 ha) is a protected area of regional importance. The former military training area is a significant habitat for rare and endangered plant and animal species.
