DIaRadtour 2011 Tag 2 Alternative

The starting point is Bitche. First, we head towards the lake (D662) and then along side roads towards Lebmber, always following the railway line. In the forest, we encounter a newly constructed bike path towards Lemberg, which we use. Upon arriving in Lemberg (D37), we take the route towards Enchenberg (D36). From there, we continue towards Montbronn (D36c/D83a). In Montbronn, we pass through the residential area until we reach the D110f, which we follow to Montbronner Muehle. After the first ascent at the hairpin bend, we go straight on a small asphalt road that leads us to Felsenhof and from there further to Bining and Rohrbach-lès Bitche. Here, we go up the hill on the D662, then turning onto the D84 towards Singling and Achen. On the D83, we continue to Kalhausen and Wittring, where we meet the Saar, which we follow to Saargemünd and then further on to Saarbrücken.
