Runde von/nach Walschleben> Haßleben>Werningshausen>Sschallenburg>Alperstedt>Stotternheim Walschleben

A 48 km loop – the detour (partly unpaved country road) in Haßleben around the former airfield area (formerly a helicopter base of the Red Army) can be skipped by going directly to Werningshausen, where you can visit the small but charming ecumenical Benedictine monastery of St. Wigberti and continue along the well-developed Unstrut cycle path to Schallenburg, then head back towards Alperstedt and Stotternheim and continue following the cycle path to Mittelhausen/Kühnhausen. In Kühnhausen on the Gera river, head to Elxleben or via the campsite near the gravel pits to Elxleben and finally to Walschleben.
