Hradec Králové - Týniště - Přepychy - HK

102 km with 760 meters of climbed elevation on a relaxed loop route, optimal for trekking (cross) bikes, unsuitable for road bikes. The route passes through the Novohradské forests and surroundings on hardened, mostly asphalt and partly good gravel roads.

From Hradec Králové we depart through the housing estate at Nový Hradec Králové, where we turn left and pass the forestry directorate, entering a luxurious forest road. We descend to the intersection U dvou závor, turn right and follow the long-distance route C181 through Belečko to the intersection at Chvojno; turn left and about 30 m later right onto C4235. For about 100 m we pass a depot of harvested and processed firewood, the place is passable with caution. We return to the road, turn right and through Albrechtice and the bridge over the Orlice river. After crossing road no. 11 we enter Týniště nad Orlicí. Behind the square we turn left, cross the railway crossing and behind the campsite with swimming pool Písák turn left on a dead-end purpose road and after about 100 m left again onto an asphalt purpose road through the forest. On the right there are a number of nice forest ponds, to the left a stream and wetlands. After the railway crossing we pass the Bedovice forestry estate with animals, descend into Třebechovice pod Orebem where the square features a Nativity scene and next to it there is a sale of excellent ice cream of many flavors.

From the square behind the church turn left, after Jeníkovice turn right to Vysoký Újezd (there is a pub on the hill). Weaker cyclists return on the road to the turn and then right, good ones descend the trail through Městec to Očelice, left and after the hill right to Přepych. At the end left and immediately right, through Nová Ves we climb to Vyhnanice, through Ježkovice straight along a forest purpose road, left through Ostašovice to Líčno, left and along C4317 we reach Čestice. We carefully pass under road no. 11 along a stream and at the end of the village turn left on road no. 36 and after the bridge over the Wild Orlice at the start of the forest right onto C4161 and on a purpose road we pass a former sandpit, right and reach again Týniště nad Orlicí. Through the square and after the bridge over the Orlice right onto a sidewalk across a meadow to Štěpánovská, right and along C4158 and through Suté břehy on a gravel forest road we reach the forester's lodge Marokánka, across the road and continue along C4158 on gravel to Běleč, past a pub and after about 150 m left onto gravel and along C4197 further into the forest on the Bělečská road. At the 2nd intersection left onto Telefonka, cross the asphalt Pásečnice road and because it is dry follow the yellow tourist trail for about 100 m to the Výskyt pond where there is a wonderful rest area with a campfire. On the road we reach Písečnice and further to the intersection U dvou závor, right onto Hradečnice and past the forest cemetery to Hradec Králové, through Malšovice back to Moravské předměstí, where we finish the route.
