Rund um den Wilseder Berg

Very well, the hiking parking lot just before Wesel on the road (K73) between Schierhorn and Wesel is very suitable. It begins on the bike path to Wesel, continuing on partially paved paths, partially solid woodland paths to Wehlen and then towards Wintermoor. Along the bike path (which then ends) along the L211 further through Ehrhorn to the junction at 'Gut Einem' towards Wilseder Berg. After a steep ascent, we then continue on a solid woodland path until the heathland at Wilseder Berg reveals its full beauty. A detour to the viewpoint (bikes must be pushed) is recommended. Down to Wilsede, we go on solid sandy paths. Wilsede, with its attractions and restaurants, is now a great place for a break. We continue on solid sandy paths right through heathland towards Döhle. At a marked junction, we take a left toward Undeloh, continuing through the heath until we reach Undeloh. A direct route between Wilsede and Undeloh is also possible. Undeloh also offers several typical sights of the heath. After crossing the K27, we continue along the street Zum Loh. This street then turns into a solid woodland path. Attention! At the first fork, keep to the left. There follows another marked fork where we also keep left. After that comes a marked intersection. At this point, one can turn left toward Wesel. Attention, it is quite steep and partly very sandy. At the end of the forest, then immediately right along the edge of the forest, with the most beautiful view of the heathland. The marked route continues in the forest a little further to the next intersection, then turns left toward the heath. Here one can now either, as marked, round the heath or cross through to the road and then back to the parking lot. Attention!!! The route should not necessarily be done on weekends, because then there are many pedestrians on the heath paths.
