Dobříš - Sedlčansko

The route passes through the beautiful landscape surrounding Dobříš and Sedlčansko. It is more geared towards sporty cyclists who enjoy a rolling profile, warming up at the beginning on the flat, and the route is not monotonous, constantly changing profile.

The start and finish are at the Dobříš Castle. In the castle premises, you can then use the restaurant with outdoor seating, a hotel, and everything else that the castle at www.zamekdobris.cz offers. The first 10 km of the route to Nový Knín is for warming up to a sporty temperature. From Nový Knín, a gentle climb towards Slapy awaits us. On the horizon, the route is slightly rolling, ideal to increase speed and handle some small elevation out of the saddle and warm up our thigh muscles. After descending to the Slapská reservoir, it will start to rise gently to a viewpoint with seating (Rabyně), where you can refresh (depending on your eating habits and priorities). There is a nice view of Ždáň and the recreational area of Měřín.
