About This Route

Catch the ferry from in front of our villa across to Bellagio and then head up the famous climb to the church of Madonna del Ghisallo. Church and adjacent museum devoted to cycling. Generally rated as one of the best rides anywhere.

 

After that we will continue to the Muro di Sormano (wall of Sormano). Used to be included in Giro di Lombardia, but nowadays they by-pass it because it is ridiculously steep.

 

Descend to the Lake and ride back around to Bellagio. Can have lunch before taking the ferry home.
