【左回り】初盤は上り基調。緩やかなアップダウンはあるものの、キツい上りはさほどない印象。三河湖沿いが気持ちいい。ゴール手前で急勾配の下りあり。狙ってないのにドリフトするんですけど。

【右回り】出だしからキツい上り。ヒルクライマーには大好物。中盤以降、R301を西に向かう際は向かい風を受けることが多い。

【その他】香恋の里でまったり休憩できる。タイミングが合えばダムの放流も見られる。自転車好きかつダムマニアには垂涎モノ。

【総括】山中を抜けるコースは交通量も少なく、走り切った後に心地よい爽快感が得られる。スタート地点までのドライブがやや長いけど。
