BG14: Mit dem Rad durchs Wasser

<p>On this tour, a very special experience awaits us, one that cyclists can only experience here in Genk. The tour is only 6 km long and can therefore be perfectly combined with the tour 'By bike through the trees' in the nearby city of Lommel, which is located a little further north.</p> <p>We start at parking lot P2 on Bokrijklaan and head south. After about a kilometer, we reach a small lake area, whose northernmost lake offers an absolute attraction for pedestrians and cyclists. We can either walk or cycle across this lake. In a literal sense, we are at eye-level with the waterfowl swimming on the lake. One can feel, see, and smell the water. From this unusual perspective, we are presented with a unique view over the landscape. Even from the shore, everything looks very unusual. We can literally see the heads of walkers and cyclists dancing above the water.</p> <p>After fully enjoying this cycling highlight, we’ll cover the remaining five kilometers that will lead us through a wooded area back to the parking lot.</p>
