Hervas por lagunilla

The first part to Marchagaz is flat, initially sloping down, good terrain to raise the average speed but saving energy. In Marchagaz, there is a small rise, gentle and without difficulty; upon reaching the summit, we start a short and steep descent to Caminomorisco on a good road.

In Caminomorisco, we begin a tough stretch of 30 km with continuous steep rollers, not very long but with a certain incline, all linked without rest, good and little-trafficked road.

In Sotoserrano, we turn towards Béjar, and after a few km, after a steep downhill and crossing a bridge, we turn right starting the climb to Lagunilla, 14 km of gentle slopes, with a road having very rough asphalt; the port is gradual with some rests, the hardest part is in the village of Valdelagarve but with not excessive slopes.

In Lagunilla, we refill water at a trough and start the descent to Abadía; be careful with the descent, 7 km with 18% gradients, 180º turns, poorly paved, with potholes and gravel, it’s better to take the descent calmly, from Abadía to Hervás, good road and sloping upwards.

In the summer and well-stocked with water, and watch out for the heat.
