After the delicious breakfast at the Hôtel de la Buffe, you head towards Méaudre via the old road. You descend the cool gorges of the Méaudret as far as the Jarrands. The first challenge of the day awaits: the Col du Liorin via the Olivets. At the summit, in front of you, the majestic peaks of the Grand and Petit Moucherolles tower over the ski slopes of the Villard Corrençon ski area. We invite you to ride to the Golf de Corrençon by crossing the Loubière forest, a fun little off-road stretch along the cross-country ski trails. Stopping at the restaurant Le 19 is a must—the welcome is as warm as the terrace. Its menu, made up of products of excellent quality, is a concentrate of subtle flavours. Rejuvenated, you descend to Villard de Lans along the Corrençonnais. A ride across the Lans plain on the old tramway will take you to the foot of the last climb of the day, keeping you away from traffic. You'll return to your cosy nest at the Hôtel de la Buffe, where Régis, an authentic chef, will share his skills with you.
