Gasseldorf - Steinbruch- Flugplatz- Weilersbach

Starting in Gasseldorf, the route runs past the Geck building centre, along the state road to 'Müllersberg' and up to the Rote Marter. Up to here, you have completed the toughest section. Continue towards Eschlipp, ride past the Drügendorf shooting range and turn left towards Feuerstein airfield. Here you could take a short break and enjoy the beautiful view. The route continues towards Lange Meile, on the plateau keep left where the path leads to Weilersbach. Passing Gasthaus Hubert, the minor road takes you to Reifenberg, from where you follow the cycle path through Rüssenbach and Ebermannstadt back to the starting point in Gasseldorf. Conclusion: Apart from the first section, the route is relatively easy to ride. A mountain bike is an advantage, as parts of the route lead over washed-out gravel roads and through forest trails.
