Dunas Temascaltepec, Valle de Bravo, Mexico

Hot day, clear sky and a lot of dryness in the air. It is advisable to drive up to the start of the route, which is next to the Mexico DF-Valle de Bravo road. The first kilometers are all uphill, winding, not too hard. You cross the old road to Valle and at the end of the climb there is a small flat section, very dense with vegetation, to start a descent on a single track, very narrow and also covered in green, very fun. From that section on, almost everything is flat and downhill. The next stretch is through the forest, also with downhill sections on wide paths and a lot of dust. The area of the 'dunes' is the final part. We encountered the surprise that they recently widened what used to be a single track, destroying the charm that section had. The second part of the dunes was still intact but all signs indicate that it won't last long. Heat, dryness, and above all a lot of dust throughout the route. It is advisable to carry a buff for the mouth at this time of year. A very fun and fast route.
