The route starts in Varnsdorf, where you can visit the lookout tower at Hrádek, passes through Oderwitz with its three wooden windmills, and then onto the Hutberg lookout in Herrnhut. The path continues along the Pliessnitz river via Bernstadt and Berzdorf am Eigen to the lookout above Berzdorfer See and to the lake itself. Following the Oder-Neisse cycle path, you head towards St. Marienthal Monastery and then through Zittau and the Three Borders area to Kristýna. From there, return to Varnsdorf. Along the way, you can visit the Breiteberg lookout above Großschönau or the castle in Hainewalde.
