Poprad - Eger 1.deň

The route begins at the Poprad train station. First, we loop through the neighborhoods of Veľká and Spišská Sobota (beautifully renovated old architecture), then we go through the city center towards the bypass towards Rožňava. We leave the city on a secondary road that leads towards Spišské Bystré. From this road, we turn right and, following the road under the forest, we reach the first-class national road towards Rožňava. We follow this road until we reach Hranovnica. From there, we continue on secondary roads through Spišský Štiavnik and Betlanovce to the ATC Podlesok campground. The rest of the day can be spent enjoying a nice hike in the area (Piecky, Prielom Hornádu). At ATC Podlesok, there are dining and shopping options. Bicycle storage is available.
