Vélo Route de la vallée du Céou

This 25 km bike route takes small roads and paths between Castelnaud La Chapelle and the Abbaye Nouvelle in the Lot. This route will lead you through a valley whose geographical situation allows it to benefit from a very mild climate and shelter a Mediterranean vegetation on its slopes. Castelnaud La Chapelle is ranked among the most beautiful villages in France and houses a fortress that overlooks the Dordogne, turned into a museum of warfare in the Middle Ages. If you stroll, you will also discover an ecomuseum of the walnut from Périgord and by the water a statue representing a gabarrier.
