Route taken on 24.08.2021. GPS track recorded with Garmin GPSmap 62s.
A good description including mapped photos, POI's, and background information can be found in Michael's map: "2nd Green Ring in the Green Network of Hamburg". However, this is a description for hikers. The blogger Florian Renz describes the route from a biker's perspective: "Green Ring Hamburg – cycling around the Hanseatic city". However, in my opinion, Florian's assessment of the signage should be revised today.
The recorded GPS track corresponds to about 95% of the official route of R11. Particularly west of the A7, there are short sections here that are not suitable for city bikes. That would be the 5% deviation -:o)
With the exception of the section between Eißenorf and Francop, the signage is very good.
