Tour du mont Lozère

The joy of cycling in Lozère!

Start between the causse and Mont Lozère: the Col de Montmirat offers magnificent panoramas;

fast descent leads to a small valley at the foot of the Causse de Mende;

at the end of the valley you reach the Col de la Loubière;

descent into the Lot valley;

then climb back up as far as Le Bleymard,

and finally the ascent to the Col de Finiels, whose last section after the ski resort features steep gradients;

gentle return to Florac.

Traffic on the Col de Montmirat is surprisingly light, as most motorists prefer to reach Mende via the climb from Ispagnac.
